2022 SERVICE UPDATES

As announced in October 2021, there are BIG things coming to RR in 2022! Namely the opening of our brand new studio that I’ve designed from the ground up…just one building north of our current Olathe location. It will offer a fresh new vibe for us as I’m getting intentional about curating a service experience that focuses on our collective mental wellbeing, as much as your physical transformation. More on that to come! But, construction is underway and we are hoping to be open sometime in April!

With the opening of the new studio, I’ve also had to give a lot of thought to the services we are offering and how we will do things moving forward. 2021 was a testing ground for us with the opening of the River Market studio and the introduction of our Glow N Go service. We’ve learned a lot and are making the following updates effective March 1, 2022.

OLATHE UPDATES

  • Effective March 1 the Glow N Go service (now called a Basic Tan) will no longer be available in Olathe. Less than 10% of our spray tans in Olathe last year were Glow N Go. From a time and simplicity perspective, it does not make sense to continue to offer this scaled back personalized service in Olathe.

  • Our first automated spray tan booth, the VersaSpa Pro, will replace the Glow N Go offering in Olathe in 2022. We expect our VersaSpa to be delivered and ready to spray shortly after opening the new studio. It will be offered on a walk-in basis only (at least in the beginning) and we will have a fresh and different way of doing things when it comes to this automated offering from what you’re used to with traditional tanning salons. More details on that when we get closer to opening.

  • The only custom spray tan experience offered in Olathe, as of March 1, will be the Signature Tan (formerly known as the Pro Glow). We are adding some options to this appointment, but the pricing will now be all inclusive at $59. You will receive hand and foot prep, a customized pre-tan treatment based on your skin’s needs that day, full body spray tan with your choice of rapid or overnight solution, post-tan moisture-wicking powder and hand and foot detail. Essentially, the same service you’re used to with no add-ons or upcharges. Everything is one price.

  • All tanning appointment times will now be 20 minutes in length (as they were until August 2021).

  • Teeth whitening will now be offered exclusively at the Olathe studio.

RIVER MARKET UPDATES

  • Teeth whitening is no longer available at the River Market location.

  • Because we do not have the ability to offer automated spray tans at the River Market location, the Basic Tan service (formerly the Glow N Go) will continue to be offered at the River Market location only for $49 effective March 1. This service is just a full body spray tan with your choice of rapid or overnight solution. No upcharge for rapid solution and no add-ons available.

  • The Signature Tan service (formerly the Pro Glow) will mimic the offering in Olathe and be priced the same at $59. No add-ons or upcharges.

  • All tanning appointment times will now be 20 minutes in length (as they were until August 2021).

RRVIP MEMBERSHIP UPDATES

  • Monthly charges will continue to be $25 paid on the 1st of every month.

  • You then receive 50% off all spray tanning services for the month, no matter the service or location. No upcharge for rapid tans.

  • All tanning appointment times will now be 20 minutes in length (as they were until August 2021).

  • Your retail discount is being increased to 20% on all RR brand products and will continue at 10% for all other retail.

  • You will continue to receive 10% off teeth whitening.

Like everyone else, our costs have significantly increased over the last two years. I absorbed them as long as I could. The good news is, for most of you, your price is not going up. Our most widely used service for many years has been the Signature Tan with the upgrade for rapid solution. The 2022 pricing is the same for this service as there is no longer an upcharge for rapid solution. So, while our prices have increased on some services…they have not for this popular offering.
