SALON COORDINATOR - OLATHE

Recreating Rays is currently looking for a full-time or part-time Salon Coordinator for our Olathe location. You will be the first face our clients see when they enter our sunless salon…so you better love to smile!
(Those free teeth whitening sessions you receive as an RR team member are going to come in so handy.)
You’re responsible for greeting clients, checking them in and out and providing Spray Tan Artists with all the pertinent information for the appointment. You will also answer the phone, communicate with clients via text, schedule appointments and answer more questions about spray tanning than you ever dreamed were possible. We will happily teach you the answers to all of those…but we need you to come to us with great communication and customer service skills so you can thrive in this role from day one.

In addition to being the front of house face of the business, you’re also going to assist clients with our VersaSpa automated spray tan booth and help walk clients through their teeth whitening sessions. No worries if seeing naked bodies all day isn’t your thing…there’s no nudity in this position by the people you serve. Again, we will teach you every last detail of how to do these things, but you’re going to need to come to us with an eagerness to learn and the mindset to match.

…you’re going to have to help clean. We take pride in our brand new immaculate studio and intend to keep it that way. So if you know how to sweep, mop, dust and clean glass and those things don’t make you want to gouge your own eyes out…well, this just might be the job for you!
Other personal attributes you should have to be successful in this role? Must be age 16 or older, detail oriented, problem solver, stellar interpersonal skills and most of all…be a team player. This is a small business and there’s no such thing as “that’s not my job”. We know that teamwork truly does make the dream work…and we DREAM BIG! Shift Availability: Monday 10-7, Tuesday 10-7, Wednesday 10-8, Thursday 10-8, Friday 10-7, Saturday 10-3
Starting Pay: $14 per hour + tips + commissions
